Privacy
The short version: Stoneless is built so that your hydration data stays yours. Everything lives on your phone. There is no account, no cloud copy, and no sale of health data — ever.
Who we are
Stoneless is provided by VectraSEO LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy covers the Stoneless Android app and the stoneless.app website. Questions, access requests, or deletion requests: privacy@stoneless.app.
What the app stores
- Your profile inputs (weight, sex, age band, activity level, climate, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and stone-history or fluid-restriction flags)
- Your logged drinks (volume, type, time)
- Your reminder schedule preferences
Some of this is health information. It is stored only on your device, in the app’s private storage, and is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. We cannot see it and cannot access it.
The app has no account system and includes no analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs.
Deleting your data
You are in control. “Settings → Data → Delete all my data” removes every logged drink, your profile, your preferences, and the hydration records Stoneless wrote to Health Connect (where Health Connect is available). Uninstalling the app removes the app’s on-device data.
Two things sit outside the app and are not removed by uninstalling:
- records Stoneless wrote to Health Connect — manage or delete these in Health Connect, and remove Stoneless’s permission there at any time;
- any export files you create (JSON or PDF) — these are saved where you choose, and deleting them is up to you.
Health Connect
If you choose to connect Health Connect, Stoneless asks only for write permission for hydration records. It writes the drinks you log so they can appear in Health Connect and apps you authorize. Stoneless does not read your health data, and health data is never used for advertising or shared with third parties. You can revoke the permission at any time in Health Connect.
Health data and your rights
Because your health information never leaves your device, we do not collect, receive, sell, or share it, and we do not use it for advertising, credit, insurance, or employment decisions. We do not use geofencing and do not track your location.
- Access — everything is visible in the app, and you can export it (JSON or PDF) from Settings at any time.
- Delete — “Delete all my data” in Settings, or uninstall the app.
- Withdraw permission — remove Stoneless’s Health Connect access in Health Connect at any time.
- Privacy contact — privacy@stoneless.app.
If you are in the EU/UK: the app processes your information only on your device to provide its features — we never receive or transfer it. You can contact us, and you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
What we do not do
- No account and no server-side copy of your health data
- No access to your health data by us — it never leaves your device
- No advertising SDKs in the app
- No selling or sharing of health data
- No use of Health Connect data for credit, insurance, or employment decisions
This website
The marketing site does not set analytics or advertising cookies. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google’s servers (Google processes your IP address to serve the font). Our hosting provider also processes standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, requested page) to serve the site and protect it from abuse. If our use of third parties changes, this page will be updated first.
Permissions the app requests, and why
- Notifications — to send hydration reminders.
- Alarms & reminders — to deliver reminders at the right minute, including after a reboot.
- Health Connect (write hydration) — to sync your logged drinks, only if you connect it.
- Google Play billing — to process subscriptions and purchases. Payment details are handled by Google; we never see them.
Children
Stoneless is intended for adults (18+). It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has used the app, contact us.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update it here with a new date and, where appropriate, note the change in the app.
